Guidance.
The State of California’s Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 challenges us to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. We will endeavor to continually seek ways to minimize our global carbon footprint.

The Electronic Industry Code of Conduct by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition challenges our industry to go beyond legal compliance. We will seek ways to go above and beyond minimum environmental requirements.

The original slogan for the environmental movement still applies, “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” We will do all in our power to make daily and strategic choices that move us closer to zero waste.

Notable Action.
65% of our work hours are spent at home offices and we encourage flex-time, thus drastically reducing the transportation component of our carbon footprint.

Overseas trips to manage our offshore development teams are kept to an absolute minimum. We purchase verified carbon offsets for all jet travel through our long-term client, iReuse.

We recycle all electronics components at greencitizen or sell them for reuse on craigslist.

We endeavor to be as completely paperless as possible by maintaining a virtual file cabinet as opposed to a real one full of paper. All forms and contracts are now stored electronically. The historically paper rich department of finance has been greatly minimized as scanners are used for receipt filing and all statements from 3rd party financial institutions are delivered as PDFs via email.

There is always room for improvement. We will continue to use iReuse’s tracking and reporting tool, Sustainability Dashboard, to ensure that we maintain optimal efficiency.
